It's the final week of the 1st TH1NGS F1RST series. We have been looking at the book of Ezra where former exiled slaves attempt to rebuild a broken city. They built an altar, the laid a foundation, the faced opposition.. and through it all they showed dedication.
In Ezra 6 the people of Israel dedicated God's temple, but their dedication started far before than moment of project completion.
In the middle of struggle and opposition Israel received a promise from God. It came from the prophets Zechariah & Haggai. In the middle of the struggle we must remember to listen for the voice of God and remember the promises He has given.
