I look back and review the WWE Royal Rumble on Sunday 25th of January 2015. This was the first pay per view of the year. It included the following results.
Pre-show match: The Masters of the WWE Universe (Cesaro and Tyson Kidd) with Natalya and Adam Rose defeated The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) with Xavier Woods. This was originally a six-man tag. Kofi Kingston ate an uppercut from Cesaro, sending him into a twisting suplex from Kidd.
1. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) defeated The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn) Billy Gunn set
2. Tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso) (c) defeated The Miz and Damien Mizdow: The Usos retain.
3. Paige and Natalya beat The Bella Twins (Brie Bella and Nikki Bella)
4. Triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) (with Paul Heyman) defeated John Cena and Seth Rollins (with Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury)
5. Roman Reigns wins the 2015 Royal Rumble Match
