A song to make the heart leap. Traditionally sung at Easter
Impossible to translate to a singable version, without making generous use of free translation. Hopefully the translation will encourage those bold enough to try.
Re-blogged from PIRG version, found various places on YouTube etc, possibly from a CD called (in Serbian, no doubt) "Not of this World" PIRG have at least made a record of Orthodox music called that.
My translation can hardly be called accurate.

Spustite se, Angeli! Dignite se, ljudi! Da bi pesmu vozneli, Neka svemir gudi! Tek Nedelja za beli Hristos se probudi.
Slava tebje, Gospodi, Što nas preporodi!
Spustite se, knezovi! Dignite se pastiri! Sve vas Hristos obnovi, i sve nas izmiri. Niste više robovi, Svi ste bogatiri.
Slava tebje, Gospodi, Što nas preporodi!
Spustite se oholi, dignite se smerni. Hristos smrti odoli, Hristos neizmerni. Popadaše idoli i svi licezverni.
