Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called on the country's National Assembly to launch an investigation into the economic attacks currently underway directed by the right-wing opposition. Maduro also called for a national debate on gasoline prices, which are very heavily subsidized in Venezuela, with a view toward increasing government revenue. teleSUR
