The funniest people to spring a surprise on are usually those who least suspect it. As Tom’s mother is walking through their home, he waits for her on the other side of an archway, perfectly poised to jump out at the appropriate time. Needless to say, she’s gently startled at the experience and proceeds to tell him off for playing the prank.
