Big political development on Coal Scam as the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was examined by the CBI in relation to the Coalgate probe. Singh faced questions related to allocation of coal block to Hindalco when he held the coal portfoilo and allegations levelled by Former Coal Secretary PC Parakh.
