In this video I discuss the possibility that the October 2014 trough was of 40-week magnitude instead of 18-month magnitude in the US markets. This would explain the recent disparity between European and US markets.
Whichever analysis turns out to be correct, it makes little difference to our trading today, but it does imply a slightly different medium to long-term outlook.
As the correct analysis emerges, it will pay to understand those longer term implications.
