Angelina, oramai cieca e molto malata, e costretta da tempo su una sedia a rotelle, voleva ringraziarla per essere andata, negli ultimi anni, così spesso da lei ed averla confortata con la sua presenza e portandole la Comunione. Però... Però la morte la colse improvvisa e non poterono salutarsi... Ma un saluto finale era doveroso e fu per questo che, una notte, Giovanna fece un sogno, nel quale la protagonista era proprio lei, Angelina... Molto più giovane, in perfetta salute e tutta dedita a preparare una grande festa... Però, prima che questa festa cominciasse, Angelina voleva, doveva salutarla... Fu solo un sogno? La certezza che si trattò ben più di un sogno arrivò qualche giorno dopo, quando Giovanna riuscì a parlare con la nuora di Angelina e le descrisse come l’aveva vista vestita...
