The current smartphone market has been dominated by Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Despite this Apple dominance, the Korean giant by the name Samsung is not lagging behind with its products as well and it is poised to launch the latest version of the S series, Samsung Galaxy S6.

The sales of Samsung Galaxy S5 may not have turned up as expected by the company but this is not going to stop the company from coming up with another flagship product of their own. But what are the features to expect in the latest Samsung Galaxy S6 that is expected to come by this year?

Bigger RAM Capacity

The S series of products from Samsung have been among the best when it comes to RAM capacity even outshining the best products from Apple. While the S5 has a RAM of 2GB, it is expected that the Galaxy S6 will come with a RAM of 3GB, which is similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset.

This is expected to provide users with a much faster platform for running the many heavily demanding applications of today, without experiencing any flaws.

LTE Speed

Comparing the LTE speed of iPhone 6 models and Samsung Note 4, it is expected that Samsung is still going to be the best, when it comes to the new models LTE speed which will probably be at category 9 Advanced LTE speed. This means that users of this gadget from Samsung will enjoy download speeds of about 450 Mbps and an upload speed of 50 Mbps.

Metal Design

Samsung is expected to ditch its trademark plastic casing and opt for a metallic design in the latest release of Samsung Galaxy S6. With the new brushed aluminum and titanium surface, this device will, for sure, attract many customers.

According to the latest rumors, the Galaxy S6 model will also feature the Super AMOLED display technology as well as the new QHD technology that features on the Galaxy Note Edge and Note 4. The Samsung flagship smartphone for 2015 will also include an Exynos 7 SoC with full support for 64-bit platforms
