A police official recently received a citation for a speeding violation following a month and a half long internal probe. Iowa State Patrol captain Ken Clary was pulled over by Trooper Bryan Guill on November 24th.

A police official recently received a citation for a speeding violation following a month and a half long internal probe. Iowa State Patrol captain Ken Clary was pulled over by Trooper Bryan Guill on November 24th.

The stop was done after Guill caught Clary, who was off-duty at the time, traveling an estimated 92 miles an hour down an interstate that has a speed limit of 70.

Upon being pulled over Clary quickly got out of his auto and shook hands with Guill. Before long he’d gotten back into his vehicle and was again on his way to a fundraising event for the Special Olympics.

The entire exchange between the two authorities took about 40 seconds. Guill did not write up a ticket and also didn’t make a report about the traffic stop.

Clary, however, told his supervisor
