Growing up in rural Guatemala usually guarantees a lifetime of struggle. Chronic malnutrition, high illiteracy, violence, and endemic poverty are just a few of the obstacles most children face, particularly in indigenous communities.
But in one highland town, five-year old Yahaira Tubac is proving that anything is possible.
