Couple Arrested After Video Surfaces Of Baby Playing With Gun

A couple in Indiana has been arrested after videos surfaced of a baby playing with a firearm.

On Thursday evening, Evansville Police took 19-year-old Michael Barnes into custody after he agreed to sell a handgun to an individual. What he didn’t know was that the person he had arranged a meeting with was an undercover cop.

Barnes, who had an active warrant for Armed Robbery attempted to run upon learning he was set up, however he was caught after a short chase.

The following day, police were searching his phone for evidence when they located two videos of the 1-year-old baby playing with a .40 caliber handgun. The child held the gun up several times and even placed the muzzle of it in his mouth.

Barnes can be heard in the background telling the boy to say ‘pow’ which the child repeated. In a press release, police noted that Barnes never attempted to take the weapon away or stop him from playing with it.
