Police in Covina, California have located two men who were accused of offering a woman one hundred dollars to purchase her child inside a local market. Investigators are now saying the act was actually just a good deed that was greatly misunderstood

Police in Covina, California have located two men who were accused of offering a woman one hundred dollars to purchase her child inside a local market. Investigators are now saying the act was actually just a good deed that was greatly misunderstood.

One of the males had been standing in line at the store when he saw the woman’s 2-year-old son and noticed how much the child resembled his own boy at that age. He repeatedly complimented the mother and her child and left her $100 in the parking lot.

She went to police and detectives released the surveillance footage and referred to the incident as a possible case of child trafficking.
