Samsung Galaxy S6 Leaked images.

Here are some unconfirmed details about Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone have leaked online, with a couple of new reports featuring pictures allegedly showing a major design element of the Galaxy S6, as well as confirmation that at least one prototype is already in testing.

A Samsung handset with model number SM-G920F, believed to be a version of the Galaxy S6, has been spotted on a shipping manifest on Indian site Zauba. The device has a listed value of around $300, much lower than the expected price for the Galaxy S6, and it’s marked as an R&D handset.

More interestingly, French blog Nowhereelse has obtained some pictures from component assembly lines that supposedly show the chassis from the Galaxy S6. The images may confirm a recent report that said the next Galaxy S model will have an aluminum body rather than being made out of plastic.

While the has posted many such leaks portraying unreleased devices in the past that turned out to be accurate, it’s not clear whether the images below indeed show off metal Galaxy S6 shells.

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 is expected to offer buyers a completely new design, with a recent report suggesting the handset will pack a curved display extending to both edges, and a metal back. The phone is also said to feature high-end specs, including a 2K display and next-gen powerful mobile processors.
