Two men reportedly tried to purchase a young child at a market in Covina, California. The mother had been at the checkout when she was approached a stranger who said both she and her son were beautiful.
After the compliments, the suspect asked the woman if she would be interested in selling her two-year-old child for a hundred dollars. She replied no, but he didn’t leave immediately.
Instead he continued talking about the boy’s appearance. Eventually the man walked away and as a precaution, the woman waited to leave the store before going outside to her vehicle.
After several minutes passed, the mother and her child went to the parking lot where the suspect and an accomplice were sitting in a Honda Pilot that was parked next to the woman’s vehicle.
They engaged her and threw out compliments before asking to purchase her son again. One of the men exited the vehicle and reached into his pocke
