The homeowner, Casey Friday had put quite a bit of time and effort into perfecting the 220 square foot residence which he calls the ‘tiny house’.
Casey and his wife spent roughly 35 grand on both the land and the construction of the small place. He documented the eco-friendly home’s progress on YouTube and his blog.
The ‘tiny house’ was situated on top of a trailer and Casey made sure to install padlock chains around the hitch but thieves still managed to take off with it. The suspects removed the home from the property only weeks before the couple was scheduled to move in.
