KARACHI: The founder and chairman of the ARY Group, Al-Haaj Abdul Razzak Yaqoob has laid to rest on Tuesday night amidst moving scenes of sobs and tears, ARY News reported.
Huge number of people including relatives, prominent businessmen, politicians and social personalities, thronged Society graveyard to pay last respects to the Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqub.
Funeral Prayer
Funeral prayer of late Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob was offered under strict security arrangements in front of the VIP gate of Mazar-e-Quaid, led by Chairman Ruet Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
The body of Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob was brought to Karachi from Islamabad for the funeral prayer today.
The body had arrived in Islamabad from the British capital and was later sent to Karachi.
Family members along with a convoy of ambulances, government vehicles and police mobiles escorted the ambulance that was bringing his body to his residence near the Mazar-e-Quaid.

Philanthropist, Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob was born on May 7, 1944 in Gujarat, but his family settled in Karachi.
He was the founding president of the World Memon Organisation (WMO) — a charity organization that runs schools and hospitals for the poor, gives scholarships to deserving students and also provides financial support to underprivileged people around the world in addition to building mosques.
Late Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqub was well respected and beloved among the people for his charity work.
He was also the main contributor to the charity fund for the welfare committee of the Pakistan Association in Dubai, which provides financial help to hundreds of people in the UAE.
He helped underprivileged people in the UAE regardless of their nationality.
ARY Group Chief had passed away on Friday 21st February 2014 in London after a prolonged ailment.
Late Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob was 69 and survived by a widow and five daughters.
