Right around Christmas, Sofia Vergara got an undoubtedly sweet surprise. 38-year-old Joe Manganiello reportedly proposed to the 42-year-old actress and now the two are engaged.
The couple had been vacationing in Hawaii at the time of the proposal and a short time later, Vergara was spotted wearing a diamond ring while relaxing by the pool.
Vergara and Manganiello have not yet confirmed or denied the reports of their engagement and neither have their reps. However an unnamed source told PEOPLE that Manganiello made preparations for the proposal prior to their Hawaiian trip.
That individual also said that he was nervous about it and unsure if Vergara would accept or turn him down.
Another source told E! News “I've never seen two people so truly in love. The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible.”
Vergara and Manganiello first began seeing each other this past July, not long after the actress ended her relationship with her previous fiancé Nick Loeb. Manganiello seemed to like Vergara before they started dating. In June, he told PEOPLE the actress was his so-called ‘celebrity crush’.
