A great mash-up recipe of a traditional Cuba Libre cocktail, and a sour cocktail... You're gonna love this!
Ingredients:
1 cup Coca Cola
1 cup sugar
1.5oz Bacardi Gold rum
.75oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1 egg white
Method:
Make syrup by bringing Coke and sugar to a boil on high. Boil until reduced to 1/2 cup, about 20 min. Let cool. Add .75oz Coke syrup, rum, lime juice and egg white to a shaker. Cover and shake for 10 seconds without ice (dry shake). Add a a generous amount of cubed ice to the shaker and again shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass over cubed ice and serve.
