Training an active dog is usually not an easy task. A new device, however, aims to make the job a lot less problematic and goes a little bit further to actually learn about a pooch.

It’s a smart dog collar called WÜF and includes a GPS, Bluetooth, a microphone and an accelerometer.

The collar can vibrate and has a speaker and GSM. These help the collar track a canine’s locations, sounds, activities and interactions with humans.

That information is then used to determine what kind of a relationship a pooch has with its owner.

The creators of the collar note “This learning allows us to provide simple and actionable ways to improve on the major challenges barking, pulling on leash, anxiety, etc. and find even more ways to bond and play, new games at the park, advanced training, etc.”

The two-piece collar is pretty slim, especially considering what it’s outfitted with and comes in various colors. The device works with WÜF's smartphone app which is free but has a premium option for users.

It’s also waterproof, shockproof and even biteproof. The Kickstarter campaign has been a successful one, as the designers have already surpassed their monetary goal of 50 grand.
