Investigations are under way across the country in crimes ranging from dismemberment to murder by bow-and-arrow to child abduction.

Police in Pittsburgh are trying to determine whether an argument led to the double-murder of a husband and wife and the dismemberment of their bodies.

Officials arrested the woman's son, who is now charged with two counts of homicide and abuse of a corpse. Their bodies were found Tuesday (December 16).

In Wellsburg, West Virginia, police are looking for a man they say fatally shot an arrow into another man's back on Thursday (December 18) morning.

That man later died of his injuries.

Officials in New York canceled an Amber Alert Thursday (December 18) evening after finding the body of a 5-year-old boy abducted from his home in East Berne.
