STORY: It's arguably one of the busiest seasons of the year with everyone trying to get their presents and Christmas dinner shopping list sorted in time.
It's just as hectic in the world of showbiz, where stars from across the globe are busy promoting their latest films, songs and products.
Still, many took a few moments on the red carpet to offer their 2014 holiday greetings. Some offered it in song, like Hobbit co-stars Lee Pace, Evangeline Lilly and Orlando Bloom. Others kept it short and simple, like actresses Keira Knightley and Helen Mirren wishing everyone Happy Holidays.
Comic Jim Carrey shared some words of advanced sympathy for those who will feel overwhelmed by the number of family members they will have to deal with over the festive period.
"I hope you survive your families this Christmas," Carrey said.
