Jamal stated “His knee was pinned underneath the car like knee was holding the car up. So I immediately jacked the car up just to relieve the pressure and the fire department came in and did their thing and removed him properly.”

Another witness said the bell ringer wasn’t speaking after the car was lifted, but he was conscious and attempting to move his leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital where his injuries were initially listed as serious, but non life-threatening.
