Dassu Tehsil is the district headquarters of Kohistan District, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It had 15 Union Councils before the separation of the Kandia valley. Since its being named as Tehsil, the Dassu subdivision has 11 Union Councils.
