A dispute over pay and conditions has led to a three day walk-out by workers at Amazon distribution centres in Germany.
The strike has reportedly hit five of the online retailers nine centres in what is one of the company’s busiest times of the year.
The union Verdi wants Amazon staff to be part of the retail industry’s collective bargaining structure. Currently they are designated as logistic workers with Amazon saying they receive above average pay for the sector.
Amazon said delivery schedules remained the same despite the walk-out and that orders would be met.
