As a native Californian, I love a good California joke, and it is one of the biggest reasons I watch Saturday Night Live. There is a bit that tells great California jokes called "The Californians" and I cannot stop laughing at their California jokes....similarly to how I cannot stop laughing at Mike Marino's California jokes. There is a similarity between his jokes, and Saturday Night Lives' jokes, they are jokes California people get. The reason I say they are jokes California get is because they are directly related with what we have to go through. Even though we are very protective of our state, we can still laugh at jokes about California....however we can only do that if the jokes about California come from Californians. Also, the jokes about California have to be funny California jokes, it is tough to impress a California crowd telling California jokes...I give props to Mike Marino tells funny California jokes in California. He told only in California jokes, when I say only in California jokes, I mean that he cannot tell these jokes in other states, they just wouldn't understand.
