Excuses, excuses, I'm sure that's all police officers hear. Cliff Yates definitely does, and I'm sure there are some funny excuses. I personally love hearing funny excuses, because when I'm making excuses they tend not to be that funny. Making excuses is not the best way to have a police officer be on your side, because I'm sure the police jokes about your excuses with their police friends afterwards. Cop jokes are completely different than any other joke, I'm assuming, because all of the excuses they have to hear, speeding excuses, funny excuses, the best excuses, and the excuses that they know are just bull. Speeding excuses, as Cliff explains may be the funniest, because the only reason why people tend to speed is to get to a place faster...the irony is, once you get pulled over your speeding excuses tend to make you later than you normally would be.
