Don McEnery is married. One great thing about marriage is it can result in a lot of funny comedy, which is the case in this bit. Don is able to tell married jokes in this bit. I do think married jokes are hilarious, even though I am not married myself. There are so many funny married jokes out there, but I think Don's funny married jokes could be up there with some of the funniest. Men seem to love a married joke, that's why these married jokes men would love. Also the fact that it is told through a man's perspective, that definitely plays a role in why these are married jokes men love. I would love to see married jokes through the perspective of a female though. I bet those married jokes funny would be...I don't know why I just spoke like Yoda there. Speaking of Yoda, I wondered if he told any funny married jokes. I'm sure he would have some funny jokes about marriage, I mean if you could understand the funny jokes about marriage that he would say. The reason why I think Yoda would tell a funny married joke is because he has so much wisdom and has been around for a while...plus he's green. He would definitely be able to tell married jokes funny as well, because of his interesting way of speaking. I am not married, but my parents are, and from watching them, I realized being married jokes are definitely played on each other. I don't know what it is about being married that drives couples to play jokes on each other, but I find it amusing. Being married jokes are actually difficult to pull off since the other person knows their spouse so well, so in order to pull off a good joke, one needs to be very clever...and there is a fine line between a good joke, and divorce.
