Surveillance footage recently captured a man going to desperate lengths to break into a tobacco store.

The crime occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, November 16th, but police in Fairfax County, Virginia only posted the footage online now in the hopes of identifying the suspect.

Prior to entering Huntington Tobacco Mart, a car was captured driving slowly in the parking lot. Moments later, a man shattered a window and maneuvered his body under its bar to get into the shop.

The space was narrow and it looked like the suspect was stuck for a bit. He got his legs past the bars without much trouble but his upper body was slightly more difficult to slide through.

His shirt began riding up on the bar, and he was forced to contort his body to push through. At one point the suspect tilted his neck at a 90 degree angle in order for his head to make it past the bars.

Once inside, the burglar gathered as much merchandise as he could carry before fleeing the scene unscathed.
