Thirty one years after democracy was reestablished in Argentina, following the brutal 1976-1983 military dictatorship, the country has registered major advances in human rights. This has especially been the case since Nestor Kirchner took office in 2003. Some 530 murders and torturers from the period of the dictatorship have been prosecuted and the 116th grandchild of murdered activist parents has just been recovered. Leonel Poblete reports from Buenos Aires. teleSUR
