Adnan Oktar: America has spent $424 million on anti-ISIL activity. What a waste of $424 million! You could have educated the whole region by handing out books with that money. All the problems in the region could have been totally resolved. Everyone in the region would have been educated had they handed books out.
Everyone could have read them and become properly informed. The problems stem entirely from ignorance. When people are ignorant, equals are ascribed to God, and that gives rise to what is happening now. Iraq refuses to calm down. Syria refuses to calm down. Because a traditionalist orthodox conception of Islam prevails there, and these kinds of results ensue. War is wreaking havoc everywhere.
Each air strike costs $5 or $9 million. Is that rational? If you handed out $9-million worth of books… Hand out food and books and do useful things with the money from just one bombing run.
- If one book costs $9, that would make 1 million books.
Adnan Oktar:A million books.
- That would be enough for the entire region, insha’Allah.
Adnan Oktar:They are making a huge mistake.
America cannot get anywhere by killing ISIL’s leaders. It must go down the path of love, talk and agreement.
Adnan Oktar: Last week, people joined ISIL from Yemen, Algeria and Egypt. I said that would happen right from the outset. The more you bomb people, there will be a rise in Islamic zeal and more slaughter, so do not do it, I said. They tried to kill off ISIL’s leaders. Is that man injured or dead?
- There is no clear proof. He has two deputies, and they say there will be no leadership problem.
Adnan Oktar: My brother, these are very dangerous actions. Killing and murdering is no good. If they have a leader, go and talk to the leader. If you kill the leader, the violence will worsen ten times or a hundred times. This is not sensible. It is a very wrong way of doing things.
- Teacher, sources close to ISIL have confirmed that al-Baghdadi died after the air strike. A Twitter account close to ISIL said they would provide details about the killing of Abubaqir al-Baghdadi in due course and that they will soon determine a new caliph for the Islamic State.
Adnan Oktar: They cannot deal with it in this way since ISIL is based on consultation. They hold consultations, and one leader replaces another. They have just angered ISIL. That anger and tension are growing. They are playing with fire. They should resolve the matter with love and reason and ideas, by talking. But they refuse to go down that road. You must first sit people down and talk to them.
That policy of bombing has harmed America badly. It has harmed the whole world. It is no good with bombing, you can only do it with love. They are trying to teach people lovelessness.
They have also taught Muslims the language of lovelessness. When I talk about ‘love’ they say ‘What are you talking about?’ They are amazed that we talk about love. If you say ‘hatred,’ that is fine. ‘Great,’ they say. But they say the words love, compassion and affection are bad. They are foreign to them. Someone who does not love affection and love and compassion cannot love himself any more. They do not love themselves. People are proud of not loving themselves. That is a terrible thing. God created the world for love. The purpose of paradise is love. The purpose of the world is love. God wants to be loved Himself. God loves His servants. ‘And I want My servants to love Me,’ He says. ‘Love Me so I will love you,’ He says. ‘Love paradise,’ says Almighty God. ‘Love life and love one another,’ He says. People keep hearing the words of satan, hatred, hatred, hatred. They must listen to the word of God.
- Teacher, America and Europe are now trying to portray the Assad regime as legitimate because of ISIL. Yet 1321 civilians were killed by Assad’s forces alone just last month, in October. Nobody talks about that.
Adnan Oktar:
Not just 1000, or 200, or 50,000 or 100,000 There is nobody left in Syria. They are killing children with barrel bombs every day. They regard Assad as a perfect antichrist [for those who encourage war]. They regard the PKK as a perfect organization of the antichrist. In other w
