Help arrives in Sierra Leone.
More than 175 Nigerian volunteers landed in the Capitol city Freetown Friday to join the fight against Ebola.
Some will also help fill the gaps in overall medical coverage.
(SOUNDBITE)(English) TEAM LEADER OF AFRICAN UNION SUPPORT TO EBOLA OUTBREAK IN WEST AFRICA (ASEOWA) MISSION, DR. RICHARD SSEKITOLEKO, SAYING:
"Some of them are coming to participate in the management of Ebola patients, but also some of them are still going to participate in the management of the other problems, for example high blood pressure, diabetes. This is because Ebola has sort of crippled those other sectors."
Volunteers who are going door to door in Sierra Leone say part of the challenge is still getting people to follow protocols.
