Madrid, 1 Dec (EFE).- Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira completed squad training at the club's sports complex in Valdebebas Monday morning after having recovered from hip problems, and could take part in the Copa del Rey game against Cornellá with the aim of improving his match fitness.

"Khedira is well, he is available to play", Carlo Ancelotti confirmed at a press conference that was brought forward so the Italian could take part in a promotional event with one of Real Madrid's sponsors. Minutes later, it was clear the German footballer was fit as he trained at the pace as his teammates.

Khedira has been somewhat unlucky this season. He is the member of the squad who has played less with 153 minutes and has missed a total of 12 games due to injury.

Monday's session saw Álvaro Medrán, Diego Llorente, Javi Muñoz and Juanjo Narváez take part and will most likely be named in the squad for the cup game against Cornellá at the Santiago Bernabéu.
