I used Band in a Box 2013 for Mac to generate the combo parts. Cindy and I made the photos around our home in Bismarck, Arkansas in December of 2012. I am playing Tenor Saxophone. The music was mixed and recorded in Garage Band for Mac.

We use this video in church worship/ song services during the Christmas season. This arrangement is based on one found in The First Christmas Gig Combo Book Series. It is a great resource for musicians that like to play jazz in church! Since we do not have a full rhythm section in church, we use Band in a Box to play those missing parts (bass, drums, guitar- etc)-- you could also use Garage Band to record the missing horn parts. It is time consuming to create, but it works well. It is wonderful that technology can help us with these needed missing parts.

Please consider purchasing this great resource for your church (jazz) music repertoire. Here is where I purchased ours (JW Pepper): http://www.jwpepper.com/The-First-Christmas-Gig-Combo-Books/2348407.item#.VExZ20u4mFI

I hope this video has been helpful to those of you that do not have enough players in your church to attempt a combo tune. I posted it to share the possibilities. We make no profit from this as it is for educational/ demonstration purposes only.

We use this arrangement in church every year! There are many other great arrangements in the series mentioned above. Merry Christmas!
