Cricket mourns player's death

The death of Australian batsman Phil Hughes two days after he was hit on the head by a ball has shocked fans at home.

He was wearing a helmet but the ball slipped through a tiny gap between it and his shoulder.

"It's the first time in my living memory that was can remember something like this happening. I think the only thing that should change is the design of the helmet."

"If you look at rugby league they've stopped the spear tackle, they've stopped the above-the-horizontal so I think, given where we are with sports, it might be the thing to do."

Cricket Australia says it's launching an immediate review of player safety following the 25-year-old's death
