STORY: Angelina Jolie and the stars of her new film "Unbroken", about the plight of an American Olympian turned World War II prisoner, were in Berlin on Thursday (November 27) as part of a promotional tour.
Jolie, who directed the film, said the story could give people hope in humanity.
"This is not about just epic journeys, about heroics. This is about the human spirit, this is about resilience and faith and these bigger themes, and so when I read it I was just personally moved by it because I think we all have that today. We all want to be reminded of some things that give us hope and make us better and Louis' story certainly does," she said at a news conference with two of the film's stars, Jack O'Connell and Japanese rock star Miyavi.
