The amendments to Articles 211 and 212 of the Ecuadoran Constitution would remove one of the faculties of the State Comptroller General. Although the resources allocated by Ecuador for large-scale public work projects would continue to be controlled by the State Comptroller General's Office, it would no longer be involved in monitoring other management functions of public sector divisions and agencies. teleSUR
