The leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) called the internal elections held November 23 'historic.' The latest report offered by the Mayor of Caracas, Jorge Rodriguez, indicates there was a high turnout and more positions (4,000)and actions than ever before were put to the vote, demonstrating a truly democratic participation of PSUV's membership. PSUV's leadership said the party aims to be the engine driving the Bolivarian Revolution.
