Tens of thousands of people flooded Mexico City's central Zocalo square last night on the 104th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, but there was no celebration. The groups of protesters who had marched there, were demonstrating against the government of Enrique Pena Nieto and its mishandling of the kidnapping of 43 teacher's college students by corrupt police in Iguala September 26. The students have yet to be found, and the people demand answers. The parents of the students organized the large scale rally. While the protests were mostly peaceful, some clashes did erupt with police who fired tear gas and detained 31 people. teleSUR
