Mexico 'missing' protests turn violent

Massive and violent demonstrations erupt in Mexico City's Zocalo Thursday night over the president's handling of the apparent massacre of 43 student teachers.

Marches through the city began peacefully but ended with protesters lobbing Molotov cocktails at police in riot gear.

The country has been plagued by protests since the 43 students were kidnapped by corrupt police from the southwestern city of Iguala.

The police were working with a local drug gang who are suspected of killing and burning the students.

The government is still investigating the incident, but the president's lack of action on the case has enflamed the public's anger.
