BCCI in its reply to the Supreme Court has countered the findings of the Mudgal Report. The BCCI in its reply has said that action was taken by means of oral reprimand on the directions of then BCCI President Shashank Manohar. The Mudgal report had said that N Srinivasan or any of the four BCCI officials in know of the players code of conduct breach by individual three did not take any action.
