Venezuela launched a series of measures aimed at strengthening its economy in 2015. The government signed 28 laws to protect the economy from without and from within, and one of which will permit President Nicolas Maduro to issue presidential decrees with the same binding force of law, to face the economic offensive launched by the far-right opposition. teleSUR
