Residents of the town of Vieques, in the east of Puerto Rico, have developed the first community radio station in the area. It serves as a new tool to continue their long struggle for peace. Radio Vieques went on the air with programming focused on the many struggles in eastern Puerto Rico for the return of the lands that have been ocupied by the US Navy for over half a century.
