ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
NASA's new Orion spacecraft arrived at its launch pad at Space Launch Complex 37 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida, Wednesday (November 12).
Time-lapse video shows the spacecraft moving from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Abort System Facility to the launch pad, where the spacecraft was lifted onto a United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket in preparation for its first trip to space.
Orion will travel almost 60,000 miles into space on December 4 during an uncrewed flight designed to test many of the spacecraft's systems before it begins carrying astronauts on missions to deep space destinations.
