As the grand jury deciding the fate of officer Darren Wilson, who is accused of shooting unarmed teen Michael Brown, is expected to give its verdict any day now, Missouri state Governor Jay Nixon has put state police and the national guard on standby and has said that no violence will be tolerated. While protesters have planned peaceful demonstrations, it is unlikely that these will remain pacific if Officer Wilson is not convicted of the crime.
