In Mexico last night a federal judge formally charged former Iguala mayor, Jose Luis Abarca, on six counts of manslaughter and 43 counts of probable murder in the Ayotzinapa case. Furthermore, Mexico's congress yesterday reduced funding available to authorities to continue the search for the more than 22,000 people who have gone missing in the country since 2006.
