The say bad things come in threes, but this video proves they can also come in much higher numbers.
Keen rowers at the Snowflake Regatta in Riverhead, New York, obviously need a little more training as they created what can only be described as a scene of maritime devastation on Sunday.
We counted a total of 7 accidents, which included people getting hit by oars, a girl nearly falling out of a boat, and two vessels having a head-on collision (how is that even possible?).
The young sportsmen and women struggle to rectify their many, many mistakes, while spectators shout helpful comments such as ‘come on’, ‘move’, and ‘row the boat’.
The Snowflake Regatta website describes the race as a ‘fun and friendly event’, but nowhere does it mention that several of the participants will have to seek treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Something tells us we won’t be seeing any of these athletes taking part in the Oxford-Cambridge boat race.
