A man who stole a 300-year-old Stradivarius violin after attacking its owner with a stun gun has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Salah Salahadyn from Milwaukee in the US had pleaded guilty to snatching the instrument worth around four million euros from a musician as he left a concert.
The violin was recovered in good condition from the attic of one of Salahadyn’s acquaintances.
