People's Conference leader, Sajjad Gani Lone met with Prime Minister Narender Modi in New Delhi. The former separatist dodged questions on a possible alliance with the BJP and maintained the state polls were not on the agenda. However, this meeting, in the run up to the state polls cannot be ruled out as a routine visit as BJP eyes the 44 seat mark in Kashmir.
