One of the world's worst industrial accidents took place in India nearly 30 years ago, when a poisonous gas leak from a pesticide factory in Bhopal killed thousands of people. A hunger strike by protesters took place in New Delhi over an increase in compensation for the victims of the incident, as well as a demand for the Supreme Court of India to acknowledge the actual heath status of victims and the right number of people killed in the accident. Al Jazeera's Nidhi Dutt reports from New Delhi.
